Communities Foundation of Texas Administers #NTxGivingDay

Dallas, TX, USA - November 23, 2022 - GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that takes place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, is happening on November 29, 2022. In North Texas, hundreds of nonprofit organizations are partnering with the Communities Foundation of Texas (CFT) to participate in #NTxGivingDay, a local online giving event that runs from 6 a.m. to midnight CST.

Last year, #NTxGivingDay raised over $67 million for more than 3,200 participating nonprofits. This year, CFT aims to surpass that record, with a goal of raising $75 million for local nonprofits. The funds raised will support a wide range of causes, including education, healthcare, the arts, and social services.

CFT is providing a variety of resources to help nonprofits prepare for and promote #NTxGivingDay, including webinars, toolkits, and social media support. • Create a fundraising page and share it with your supporters.
• Promote #NTxGivingDay on your website, social media, and email lists.
• Host a fundraising event on GivingTuesday.
• Partner with other nonprofits to cross-promote your efforts.

By participating in #NTxGivingDay, nonprofits can raise critical funds to support their missions and make a difference in the lives of North Texans.
