Who Will Win NFL Defensive Player of the Year?

Myles Garrett is the Favorite

The NFL Awards were held on Feb. 10, 2023, and all the major awards were handed out. Lamar Jackson won the MVP award, and Cameron Heyward won the Man of the Year award. But who will win the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award? Myles Garrett is the current favorite, but there are a few other players who could win it.

Garrett had an incredible season in 2022, finishing with 16 sacks, 20 tackles for loss, and three forced fumbles. He was a major force on the Browns' defense, and he was a key reason why they made it to the playoffs.

However, there are a few other players who could win the DPOY award. Nick Bosa of the San Francisco 49ers had a great season, finishing with 18.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss. T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers also had a great season, finishing with 20 sacks and 26 tackles for loss.

It will be interesting to see who wins the DPOY award. Garrett is the favorite, but Bosa and Watt are both strong candidates. It should be a close race.
